Nestled in a 7,000 m² green oasis with shrubs, chestnut trees, wild flowers, roses and irises, this charming vacation home welcomes you in the hills of the old village of Mayres, crossed by the two rivers Ardèche and Borne. The secluded swimming pool benefits from a beautiful view of the Monts d'Ardèche, the indoor areas are comfortably furnished and you have a nice barbecue terrace at your disposal. You are located in the natural park of the Monts d'Ardèche, in the charming region of the Seven Lakes (e.g. Lac d'Issarlès or Lac de Naussac). Two spas not far away are just right for rest and relaxation after a trip to the surrounding attractions, which include the Tanargue and Thuyets massifs, with their gorgeous basalt rock faces and unforgettable valley views. On the way there, hike the Chaussée du Roi ("Way of the King") and the Echelle de la Reine ("Ladder of the Queen"): Two staircases set in the rock that take you to the famous Pont du Diable and Bridge of the Devil, respectively. The perforated rock Lou Ron Tracha is a geological curiosity and a must-see at this vacation address. The same goes for the Lignon Valley, the ruins of the Château de Montlaur, the Rocher d'Abraham rock, as well as the Peyralade mineral spring and the Château de Ventadour. In summer, the ski resort of La Croix-de-Bauzon turns into a paradise for climbing, paragliding, canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and playing tennis. 26 km away, the historic and fortified town of Aubenas attracts its visitors with farmers markets and various events during the summer months.
