NINIROOM is a cozy hostel with a café, run by two sisters, located between downtown Kyoto and nature. Just a 15-minute walk from Gion and Shijo, NINIROOM is in a quiet neighborhood filled with local cafés, independent shops, cultural spots, and the relaxed atmosphere of everyday Kyoto. The Kamo River is also just a short walk away, where you can enjoy a stroll along the river with views of the surrounding mountains. Our concept is “a friend’s room in Kyoto” — a place where you can feel at home while discovering a more local side of the city. The first floor café and shared lounge offer a welcoming space to enjoy a coffee, relax, or meet other travelers. Our rooms are simple and comfortable, with air conditioning and free WiFi. Shared shower booths and toilets are available on the second and third floors, with women-only showers on the third floor. Whether you are visiting Kyoto for the first time or looking to experience a different side of the city, we hope NINIROOM feels like your home away from home.
