Riverside is an excellent base for exploring the Northumberland National Park, home to a wealth of scenic and historic attractions, an ideal opportunity to explore countryside and coast with circular footpaths and challenging long distance trails. The ancient market town of Wooler, gateway to the Cheviots is a short walk away. Sandy beaches, dramatic coastal vistas and Alnwick Castle (of Harry Potter fame) are within 30 minutes’ drive. There is also horse riding, bike hire and watersports available locally. Discounts are available for a selection of local activities and attractions.. Please Note: The main facilities at Riverside including Bar, Restaurant, Games Room and Swimming Pool are located approx 200 yards from the main entrance of the park. There is a path from the park that takes you to the road crossing where the facilities are located.
The swimming pool will be closed from the 06/03/2023 - 06/04/2023.
A £20 food voucher is issued in all welcome packs on arrival but please note this is only for use on the park.

There will be a Halloween Party at Riverside Country Park which will be a ticketed event on Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd November. Tickets are £10 adult, £5 child and can be bought directly from the park on 01668 281447 option 3.

Your self catering holiday accommodation comes with one set of towels per person - 1 large towel and 1 small towel, 1 set of bed linen per person and 1 tea towel. If you require more bed linen and towels for your stay, please bring these with you.
