The picturesque village of Ellingham is a popular rural village surrounded by outstanding natural beauty. It also has a delightful village pub which offers some tasty home cooked meals. The village is also renowned for its spectacular wedding venue Ellingham Hall, which brings hundreds of visitors from around the world.
Ellingham is close to all seaside and historic market towns including Seahouses, Bamburgh, Alnwick, and Alnmouth. Dunfeld Yem is only a short drive from the golden sandy beach of Beadnell Bay. This is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, including sailing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and scuba diving. Beadnell is renowned as a holiday destination and offers local facilities including a village shop and pub serving good food.
Just 1 mile up the coastline is the traditional fishing port of Seahouses where boat trips depart regularly from its harbour to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony.
