A typical day here involves waking up when the sun tells you to—or when you’re ready for the day—and eating a leisurely breakfast on the water-side deck. Sip coffee and enjoy the waves lapping against the shoreline and keep an eye out for the abundant wildlife. This place really feels like a vacation! Watch the bay come alive with paddlers, sailboats, and sea planes in the distant Sechelt harbour. Kids and adults alike enjoy exploring the tidal flats out front.
You’ll quickly see that the bay is full of wildlife. Watch the sea birds, seals, salmon and soaring eagles from the waterfront deck. The sandy beach is just a single step beyond the front lawn, and is easy to walk on. A short beach stroll will take you into Porpoise Bay Provincial Park and the nearby bird estuary.
Enjoy quiet evenings barbequing on the deck with friends and family and watch the sun go down. You’ll see the twinkling lights of Sechelt shimmer across the water as darkness sets in. Wind down with a glass of wine or a cup of tea, and make sure to check out the stars!
This rancher-style home is right on the water's edge. It’s spacious, comfortable, family-friendly and readily accessible for elderly people (there is just a single step to the front door and a walk-in shower with a built-in seating area). There are 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, and a large garage for storage. The Living Room sectional pulls out into a queen bed for extra guests. The Kitchen is fully equipped for preparing family meals, and the large Dining Room is perfect for groups. All furnishings and beds are high-end and comfortable, making the Beach House a perfect getaway at any time of year.
