Are you looking for a getaway where you can spend your days touring around Halifax and your evenings away from the hustle & bustle of the city watching the sunset with a glass of your favorite bevvy. We’ve got you covered!
We are located on Moody Lake, 22 minutes from Downtown Halifax and 10 minutes away from Crystal Crescent Beach and Long Lake.
Spacious 1 bedroom walk out basement suite.
The master bedroom includes a queen size bed, 32” TV, bedside lamps with USB chargers, walk in closet, ironing board, iron, board games, desk/study area with a USB charging station.
The family room includes a 50” Smart TV where you can log into all your streaming services. Side tables have USB chargers.
The bed in the living room is a Queen size.
The full bathroom has a walk in shower, extra large towels and blow dryer.
The kitchenette is equipped with dishes, cutlery, fridge, 2 burner hot plate, large toaster oven/air fryer, bullet blender, small microwave, electric kettle, toaster, French press and keurig machine (coffee pods supplied for short stays).
This space has ductless AC in the summer months and heat pump with in floor heating in the winter.
In the summer months the private lake facing patio has a full size BBQ, and lounge chairs.

We are located in rural Nova Scotia on lake front property surrounded by trees you will encounter: Ducks, Geese, Loons, Racoons, Squirrels, Rabbits, Minks, Flys (including gnats, black flies and Horse flys), Bees, Wasps, Spiders, Worms, Centipedes, Mosquitoes, Salamanders, Frogs and Toads.
We live in the upper levels of the house and have 2 dogs and 5 pet chickens you will hear/see them during your stay. The chickens can be talkative when laying eggs please expect to hear clucks.
Guests have access to the fire pit, 2 stand up paddle boards, 2 Kayak's and fishing rods. *life jackets provided and must be worn*
All water/ice sports are at your own risk as there is no life guard on duty

Usage of large back yard, BBQ, garden, patio, lounge chairs, backyard has a tire swing, fire pit, firewood, private dock, 2 SUP boards, 2 kayak's, wet/dry bags.

In the winter months the fire pit and ice skating are assessable.
All water/ice sports are at your own risk.
