The 90 m² exclusive holiday home, located in Usingen, was completely renovated and refurbished in 2024. You can expect bright, modern rooms with hypoallergenic laminate flooring and a fibre optic connection with free LAN cabling/WLAN as well as electric shutters.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen, living and dining room and a guest toilet. Here, the sofa with pull-out bed can be extended into a bed. The bathroom with shower and three bedrooms are located on the first floor. One with a double bed (2.0 x 2.0 m) and two with single beds (1.0 x 2.0 m), which can be used as children's rooms.
Furthermore, a terrace with garden for breakfast in the sun or pleasant barbecue evenings incl. Weber charcoal grill is included in the use.
Also worth mentioning is the fully equipped, new kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, modern extractor fan and everything else that goes with it. There is also a washing machine/dryer combination in the laundry room in the basement.
Towels and bed linen are included in the price of the Buchfinkennest.
Bicycles can be parked in the cellar via the outside staircase.
A bakery, butcher's shop and a supermarket can be found in a nearby small shopping centre directly on the Riedborn in 5 minutes and the Usingen city centre is a 15-minute walk away.
Here you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the cosy ‘Rathauscafé’ or in the ‘Schloßcafé Keth’, for dinner and after dinner at ‘Uwe & Uli’ or ‘Bembel & Gretel’ and the Usinger Weinbar first-class gastronomy is at your disposal
The Taunus is particularly suitable for hiking and cycling. The beautifully situated Hattsteinweiher pond is just a 30-minute walk away. Here you can swim and enjoy nature on the small sandy beach or watch the sunset from the restaurant overlooking the pond.
The Eschbach cliffs, a local attraction, can be reached by bike in 20 minutes.
The ‘Kleiner Feldberg’ leisure, skiing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing area with bird of prey station is also within easy reach at 24 minutes by car. The Taunus Weilrod golf course is a 10-minute drive away and the spa town of Bad Homburg is 16 km away.
The ‘Freizeitpark Lochmühle’, a true children's paradise (https://lochmuehle.de), and the ‘Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark’ (https://www.hessenpark.de) are a 10-15 minute drive away.
