Can Ros is a small charming house situated in the center of Banyalbufar, in a picturesque pedestrian street that leads to El Penyal, the upper and oldest part of the village. The house is located 40 meters from the church and the Town Hall. It’s and old recently renovated Majorcan style house, with thick stone walls and exposed wooden beams, air conditioning in the bedroom and heating on both floors, fiber internet, Chromecast based TV, kitchen with hob, oven and refrigerator, and a bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine. On the ground floor you have the living room and the kitchen, and on the upper floor the bedroom and the bathroom. The street is quiet and perfect for a relaxed stay, and the house is easily accessible being 20 meters from the bus stop and the main street.
Banyalbufar is a small paradise surrounded by sea and mountain and located in la Serra de Tramuntana, declared World Heritage Site by Unesco, keeping the original Mediterranean character. It is ideal for nature lovers, perfect in all seasons of the year. In the summer because of its rocky beaches and transparent waters at a five minute walk from the house, the sunsets and the Mediterranean gastronomic offer in beautiful terraces with views. In the spring, autumn and winter, it's perfect for hiking and cycling. Both the Pedra en Sec hiking trail GR 221 and the MA10 road (for cycling from Andratx to Pollensa) go through Banyalbufar.
All year long it is a pleasure to look at the night sky with clear starry views, have a glass of Malvasia wine, and enjoy the peace offered by the place.
The village is at a 40 minute drive from the airport and Palma, and there is also a bus that connects Banyalbufar with the Plaza España Intermodal Station (Linea 200) in Palma. There are free/paid public parkings in the village, and some parking spaces in the main street.
