Winnets is the larger of the two cottages situated on Church Farm and has 3 bedrooms providing accommodation for 4 people in the stunning Derbyshire Peak District National Park.
This property has been credited by Visit England with a 4 star rating.
Downstairs, the hallway leads to a comfortable single bedroom and a spacious bathroom with a bath and shower.
Upstairs, is the living area and kitchen with views over the surrounding countryside and 2 attractive bedrooms – a double bedded room with a king sized bed which overlooks the courtyard and a single room.
There is a Smart television with Freesat in the lounge, together with a radio/CD player and plenty of local maps and guide books. Wi-Fi is available.
The modern kitchen is very well equipped and includes an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster..
A washing machine, tumble dryer and boot washing facilities are provided in a separate laundry room, together with a clothes drying line. A separate drying area is available to dry wet clothes and boots. Bicylces can be stored in a loackable barn opposite the cottage.
This property benefits from an electric car charger, aswell as the most amazing picturesque views across the valley!
A warm and cosy welcome awaits you at any time of the year at Church Farm Holiday Cottages near Dovedale Derbyshire. 4 star rated with Walkers and Cyclists Welcome approval from Visit England, they are the perfect place for exploring or just chilling out and are fully equipped with everything that you will need. Facing south onto a picturesque cobbled yard with ample off road parking, they are an ideal place to sit and relax with a glass of wine, admiring the view, while you plan your next day’s adventure. At Winnets you are also more than welcome to Bring your Dog! (Please notify us prior to arrival, £25 surcharge applies)
The property owners are on site, they are welcoming and more than happy to assist when needed!
-The main train stations are Derby which is 40 minutes away by car, Buxton which is 35 minutes away and Matlock which is 25 minutes away.
-There is a limited bus service to Alsop Station from Ashbourne. Church Farm Cottages are 1/2 mile on a public footpath from Alsop Station. We can arrange a pick up.
-There is a local taxi service. Ashbourne Community Transport can provide accessible taxis if required. We can make a booking for you.
-Information from the brochures can be provided in large print.
-We have a comprehensive website detailing accommodation including cottage layout and floor plans.
-Public telephone kiosk is 2 miles away in Parwich village. There is good mobile -phone reception outside the cottages for O2 and Orange.
IMPORTANT
Please note the property is non-smoking. If you fail to adhere to any house rules, your deposit will not be returned and additional charges may apply.
Pet Rules
We welcome pets at Winnets Cottage to enjoy a holiday with you, but we do have a few house rules!
Please no pets on the furniture
**Pets MUST be kept on a Lead when outdoors**
Please use own bed, blankets and towels
No pets in the beds
Please don't leave Dogs unattended in the cottage.
Please tidy any mess in the garden
Partying and excessive noise is not permitted in this property, failure to comply will lead to a fine.
Vacating the Cottage
Check out time is 10am. If you require a later checkout, please enquire if this is possible before arrival. A surcharge of £20 will be deducted from the deposit for unauthorised late checkouts that prevent our cleaning team accessing the cottage.
Please leave the cottage as follows:
Used beds pulled back bed covers
Towels left in bath
Replace any furniture that you have moved.
Empty refrigerator and cupboards of food items
Clean and tidy
Return key to key safe box
