Eagle View Condo is a modern, 2 bed, 2 bath condo located in the Eagle Pointe Resort on Lake Monroe just 15 minutes SE of Bloomington, Indiana and close to the IU campus. Step out onto the expansive, tree top level deck overlooking Eagle Bay and you will know you have made the right choice!
The Space:
Fall asleep each night in the master bedroom’s luxurious king bed and wake up to a treetop view. There is a private entrance from the master bedroom to the deck overlooking the Lake. This bedroom adjoins a master bath with a tub/shower combination. A cozy second bedroom is conveniently outfitted with two single beds, and its own private bath with a shower. In the center of the condo is an open living, dining, and kitchen space with access to the amazing deck and bay views. The living area has a sleeper sofa and an ornamental fireplace. The open kitchen is well equipped and features a coffee bar to get you started with a morning cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The unit has 2 satellite TVs (one in the master bedroom and one in the living room) and free Wi-Fi internet access. The spacious deck offers ample seating for lounging and dining and a cozy porch swing. An electric grill is provided for outdoor dining experiences. (Charcoal and gas grills are prohibited). A clothes washer and dryer are available for your convenience.
Activities:
Enjoy the Eagle Point Golf Course, an 18 hole professional course with pro shop, driving range, restaurant and bar. You have seasonal access to the community swimming pool, tennis court, and basketball court (generally Memorial Day to Labor Day). It is convenient to IU, Bloomington, and Brown County Indiana. A short drive down the Road takes guests to Fairfax public beach and marina if you want to swim, rent a boat or put your own boat in Lake Monroe. Enjoy Eagle sightings and bird watching from the deck
Guest Access:
The condo is located in a gated community with 24 hour security staff. You enter through a secured gate house (you will have a pass to come in and out) and take a short scenic drive through the gated community, around the swimming pool and down the hill to Eagle Bay Condos. Vehicle parking is available close to the condo entrance. The interior of the condo is on one level, but you will need to go down and up a few steps to get from the parking lot to the condo door. The condo is equipped with a keyless entry, you will be provided with a code.
Please Note:
Although Eagle View Condo has a beautiful view of Eagle Bay on Lake Monroe, there is no boat access or swimming to the lake from the property. In addition, boat, trailer, and RV parking is prohibited anywhere on the Eagle Pointe Resort property. If you are bringing your own boat or camper you will need to make your own arrangements for parking these vehicles off site. Perhaps the Fairfax Marina, just a short jaunt down the road, could be the place. Also, please be considerate guest and observe the quiet hours between 10pm and 8am that are also posted in the condo.
