If you want to go canoeing, you only have to drive a few kilometres to reach the protected "Peenestrom" strait; other options include cycling tours in the nearby or greater vicinity, where you will discover numerous castles, manor houses and various other historical buildings.
The village Pelsin is about 6 km away and has an idyllic bathing lake for a refreshing swim if one doesn't feel like driving all the way to the Baltic Sea.
