The ideal tiny house NSW retreat for families to bond and unwind in nature, surrounded by national parks, breathtaking lookouts, and exciting attractions. Nearby the seaside suburb of Shell Cove, Budderoo National Park, Fitzroy Falls, and an hour drive from Culburra Beach. If you're feeling spontaneous, you can swim, take a beach walk, or just chill at the beach.
IMPORTANT NOTE:Please advise that there will be farm animal noise during your stay with us as we are a working farm that cares for animals and crops.
The Space:
Foxglove Cottage is the perfect family staycation in Robertson, just an hour drive from Sydney. Belmore Falls, Carrington Falls, and Robertson Hotel are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area. A comfortable accommodation with a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor.
It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the host's private residence.
The Neighborhood:
Foxglove Cottage is located on the banks of Missingham Creek, which runs through our property and has plenty of swimming holes, beautiful beaches, and a variety of activities to explore. We are just and hour drive from Sydney, nearby the seaside suburb of Shell Cove, Budderoo National Park, Fitzroy Falls, and an hour drive from Culburra Beach.

- Robertson Fruit Shop is where you can find freshly harvested fruits and goods of the season.
- Robertson Country Markets is a local farmer's market held every second Sunday of the month.

- Pizza's in the Mist is a popular restaurant that offers a delicious selection of pizzas and casual atmosphere.

-Belmore Falls is a bushwalking track near Kangaroo Valley with sensational southern highland and sandstone flora views.

- Robertson Hotel is considered to be one of the most luxurious hotels back in the 1920s.
-Blue Pool Swimming Hole is a walking track that leads to an idyllic swimming hole set in a tranquil bush setting.
-Carrington Falls is a popular attraction with spectacular waterfall vistas and a walking track in New South Wales.
- Bowral Township is a sophisticated town in the Highlands with eateries, wineries, boutiques, and country markets.

By car:
- 25min, 31km to and from Kiama
- 25min, 32km to and from Bowral
- 25min, 30km to and from Moss Vale
- 30min, 38km to and from Mittagong
- 45min, 46km to and from Wollongong
- 1.75hrs, 130km to and from Sydney
By public transport:
It's recommended to use a private vehicle or a train to Bowral (Southern Highlands) or to Albion Park Rail (South Coast). Then, land host can pick you up for additional fee of $50 from either Moss Vale, Bowral, or Albion Park Rail Stations
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Mobile reception is good for Telstra & Optus
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Languages spoken are German and English only
- We have 3 horses and 2 Border Collie dogs on the property
- Please remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the property
- Don't forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g especially chargers)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Guests are also free to bring their DVDs or USB sticks if they wish
- If you're interested in watching the "outdoor movie" accommodation. You may contact the land host 24 hrs in advance to make the necessary arrangements. Thank you
Safety guidelines
- Please follow the safety guidelines discussed with land host
- Please don't pee in the pools as it is used as drinking water
- Guests with infants are advised to bring their portable travel cot
- Guests with young children are also advised to keep an eye on them at all times as the stairs to the loft are steep
On top of that, we'd like to inform guests that the property is situated 627m above sea level, which is on average 5 degrees cooler in summer and winter than that of Sydney.
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
