a note to you from the owners-
This brand new house, completed in September 2022 has the crisp, clean feel of a new home with new furnishings. I give much credit to my wife Susan who designed the layout with its ease of flow and efficiency. It is a little house with a big feel. Garrett Place gives the sense of privacy and seclusion and yet it is only 3 miles to the I-26 Upward Road exit. If you are looking for comfort, space and a place to recharge we are sure you are going to love Garrett Place. If you are still deciding, show the property profile to your dog.
Special note: The house was built to be user-friendly for physically-challenged people. There is a ramp to accommodate wheelchairs or anyone who cannot negotiate steps. The doors all have a three foot wide clearance, and the owner's suite and bath were strategically built for wheelchair access.
The outdoor space of the orchard occupied hours of playtime for me and my two brothers growing up in the 1960's & 70's. Garrett Place continues as an operating apple orchard. I hope you will take advantage of hiking around the orchard (staying within the outside perimeter of the apple trees will keep you safely on the property).
The deck is a great spot to enjoy spectacular sunsets.
The Bocce Ball court at the back of the house is a relaxing way to spend a few hours.
Then please take the opportunity to burn a few logs in the outdoor firepit and make s/mores as you gaze out into the apple trees under the star lit skies of the Carolinas.
