Waterfront character property on the Murray River. Situated on Ballee Island, the property has a boathouse and is only a 2 minute boat ride from the Young St Jetty. Great location for fishing, crabbing and enjoying the river and estuary.
Unfortunately, we do not hire boats, and there is not a boat hire place around. You really do need to have access to a boat yourself before you book :)
Amazing for fishing, crabbing and other water activities. Fenced back garden. Dogs allowed (by arrangement), but not inside or on furniture. 10 minutes by boat to the Sandy Cove Tavern, 30 minutes to the Ravenswood Hotel. 45 minute crossing to Mandurah across the estuary.
Guest access
Accessible from the Young Road boat ramp, about a two minute trip to the house and the boatshed is perfect for most trailerable boats.
Other things to note
PLEASE NOTE: you do need a boat to get from the car parking area to the property. A boat is great fun for this property there is a lot accessible by water on the Murray, including breakfast spots, kids parks, pubs and cafes - plus the great crabbing and fishing spots.
