The majestic Homestead has Murray River facing views and is set amid a backdrop of forest and aussie bush.
The massive home has the grandeur and character of the 1850s with the modern luxuries of updated bathrooms, a sunroom/conference room extension, air-conditioning and heating throughout and a brilliant outdoor entertaining and pool area.
The Homesteads’ versatility and uniqueness assures an unforgettable vacation. It is ideal for important events like family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, work retreats and catching up with friends (very child friendly). The adjacent three bedroom Retreat offers additional accommodation for larger groups to overflow into.
The Homestead and Coach House boast:

Once the location to a 1000-acre working dairy, this stately stone Homestead offers a unique and unforgettable holiday experience. Only minutes from the River Port of Goolwa, a stay at Karinga Park Homestead can be as relaxed or as active as you like. For the water lovers, tubing, jet skiing, swimming, water skiing, fishing and cruising are all at your doorstep on the Murray River and the famous Goolwa Beach. For the adventurous explore the islands diverse range of wildlife with a serene forest walk only steps from the Homestead door. In Goolwa there is a myriad of activities to be enjoyed from cruises along the Coorong, antiquing, markets and fantastic eateries featuring some of the region’s best local produce and wine. For the animal lovers we are located at the gateway to the distinctive landscape of The Coorong, with an abundance of birdlife. Relax watching a variety of birds enjoying our grounds and forest. What you need to know:
All bedding, linen and bath towels are supplied as well as incidentals including soap, toilet paper, dishwashing supplies and BBQ gas . BYO beach towels.
We do the general cleaning - simply leave neat, dishes done and kitchen as on arrival, BBQ cleaned and rubbish placed in bins provided on site.

On Sunday check out is extended to 12pm.
Check out can be extended to 3pm (subject to availability, surcharge may apply)
PLEASE NOTE: A $100 cancellation fee (plus any additional HomeAway fees) applies to bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations made 60 days or less prior to arrival are not eligible for a refund of the deposit.
Discounted rates are fixed even if number of guests or nights reduces. Additional guests and nights may be added to the booking at the same discounted rate. The deposit is non-refundable.
