The Plau Lagoons are located in the harbor village inaugurated in 2015, a largely car-free, newly built residential area with an adjacent marina. If you follow the quay towards Plauer Altstadt, you stroll along the Elde along numerous boathouses and reach the landing stages of the excursion steamers and some restaurants and pavilions via the well-kept promenade, which invite you to linger outdoors and offer perfectly acceptable meals at reasonable prices.
