Stone Creek Cabin is a custom-built, upscale mountain-modern creekside home with 4BRs and 3.5BAs. This quiet mountain community is minutes from downtown Boone, Valle Crucis, and the Watauga River. Thoughtfully designed by the builder and the owners, Stone Creek Cabin has been furnished, outfitted, and equipped to be the ideal family-friendly mountain vacation destination. Amenities include a Hot Tub, Pool Table, Fire Pit, HD Smart TVs, Central Heat and AC, High-Speed WiFi Internet, and a Fireplace. This 2-acre property is in a large flat meadow with a bold creek with valley views, an idyllic getaway where guests can bring their provisions and never have to leave. Even the family dog can come along (restrictions and pet fees apply).

Located in Vilas, a quiet mountain community only 7 miles from downtown Boone, this is a central and convenient location for anyone vacationing in the High Country. Other nearby attractions include the village of Valle Crucis, with the Original Mast General Store and the Valle Crucis Riverfront Community Park, about 6 miles away. The Watauga River is less than 5 miles away. Downtown Banner Elk, Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Blowing Rock, Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Wilderness Run Alpine Roller Coaster, Grandfather Mountain, the popular Profile Hiking Trails, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and the Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club are all within 20 miles of this home.
With two parking areas - one at the front main level entrance and one at the side lower level - easy, level entry is possible on both the main and lower levels. The main floor features an open, bright floor plan with wood floors, large windows and glass doors, and vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings with exposed beams.
The Kitchen boasts high-end stainless appliances and beautiful leathered granite counter and bar tops. Ample cabinetry, prep space, and supplies make preparing and serving meals to a full house an easy task. The adjacent dining area features a dining table that can seat up to 8 guests, plus the 6 bar stool seats at the kitchen island bar top means up to 14 can dine together.
The Living Room boasts comfy furniture, a stone gas log fireplace, and a huge HD Smart TV. Glass doors flank the fireplace and lead out to a covered porch with outdoor dining space and a rear patio with a gas grill and outdoor lounging furniture. The main level decks overlook the wood-burning fire pit, the flat backyard meadow, and the bold creek. There is also a half bath/powder room on the main level for convenience.

There are two King suites at Stone Creek Cabin. The main floor King suite has an HD Smart TV and a private ensuite full bathroom with a sizeable level-entry tile, frameless glass custom shower, and double granite vanity with His-and-Hers sinks. There is also a laundry closet in this bathroom with a washer and dryer.
The second King bedroom suite is on the upper floor. Private and spacious, this suite features vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, an HD Smart TV, and a private ensuite bathroom with a granite vanity and large custom-tile and frameless glass shower. You will enjoy Mountain Views from the dormer window and custom-crafted window seat.
The lower level offers high tongue-and-groove ceilings and glass doors that lead out to the lower rear courtyard with a hot tub and fire pit. At the foot of the steps is a cozy Den with a huge HD Smart TV and comfy furniture featuring a full-sized sleeper sofa. Next to the Den is the Game Room with a Slate Pool Table. A central full bathroom with a double granite vanity and a deep soaking tub with shower and tile surround services the lower entertaining areas and the two lower-level bedrooms. The Queen bedroom has an HD Smart TV and large windows looking out at the views and creekside meadow. The bunk bedroom features two Twin-over-Twin bunk beds, accommodating 4 guests.
The huge flat meadow, a rare gem in a property here, is an easy walk down from the rear courtyard and fire pit. Over a full acre in size, it is perfect for outdoor games and play, a safe place for children and dogs to run freely! At the rear of the meadow is a bold creek that runs the length of the property. Every now and then, a mountain trout might just cruise through!
