Welcome to our cabin in the woods! Enjoy the ambiance of 12 acres on Old Mines Creek which includes beautiful creek access, a playground & all the conveniences of home with the peace of the country. We’re just miles away from hiking, fishing, or floating at beautiful state parks & only 30 miles away from Elephant Rock & Johnson Shut Ins. 1 mile away is the Starlite Drive-In movie theater and a few more miles down the road are a couple of local wineries. You also don't want to miss the adorable town of Caledonia with antique shops & sweet treats.
This tiny cabin is full of perks such as- a full kitchen with range, refrigerator, and microwave, a coffee nook with amenities, living room with a smart TV & pop up sofa bed, dining space with a table for 4, queen size master bedroom, 3-tier bunk bed in the second bedroom, beautiful full bathroom, and washer & dryer available for your use. Step outside to find the porch with seating for 2, tree swing, gas grill, picnic table, & personal fire pit. Other shared features include the playground and the access to Old Mines Creek. In season, we encourage you to wade down the creek with your chairs & music to enjoy the peace of the water.
Reminders:
We are pet friendly & happy to welcome a maximum of 2 pets during your stay. There is charge of $50 for extra cleaning needs. Keep your puppies on a leash, especially if others are around, please keep the barking to a minimum, and be sure to clean up after them in the yard. We prefer your dogs not sleep on the furniture and to be crated when left alone in the home. We want you to bring your fur-babies but please be gentle with our home. NO cats allowed.
We are happy to provide complimentary WiFi on the property but we will not extend any refunds for internet outages.
There is a Ring security camera on the front porch with active recording for security purposes.
