Wedged between the rugged West coast mountains and the wild ocean. Waterfalls tumbling from the cliffs behind the house making the fairytale image complete.
Situated on one of the top 10 coastal routes in the world. Walk the beach without anyone else in sight. Make great photos of the sea stacks, sunsets, or the milky way. Google images and of "Motukiekie beach", you will be impressed.
Secluded, private, and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Punakaiki. The downstairs apartment is well appointed with a complete kitchen.
Light the little log burner in the lounge. Have a sound sleep with the sound of the surf and the creek. You will have extensive dreams. So cozy, you will never want to leave.
While the apartment is downstairs with sea views, you are most welcome to go to the top deck and watch the sunsets from the top deck with a 180 degrees view over the Tasman sea.
Halfway between Greymouth and Punakaiki, it's the perfect base for West Coast activities.
The house is in a small community with 8 other houses.
There are plenty of walks nearby. We advise you to stay 2 or more days, you will not regret that.
