Chicken watching!
The space is a Mother-in-Law style flex suite attached to the main house. Your private, separate entrance door opens into the rental space that is solely occupied by you, the guest(s). The room contains a queen sized bed, desk, and kitchenette. There is also a large closet with a wheeled clothing rack available. At the end of the hallway is a full bathroom that is accessible only by guests.
Guests have total access to the flex suite, driveway, and backyard areas. Guests are not permitted in the main portion of the house which is occupied by the owners and their two dogs and two cats. Our pets have never been allowed in the flex suite, even when we are not hosting guests. When we're home, we'll do our best to keep them quiet, but you may hear some barking now and then.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the backyard, which includes picnic bench, string lights, and a chicken coop with four happy hens. If you'd like the chickens to remain in the coop during your stay, that's not a problem, please let us know. Otherwise you may happen upon the chickens free-ranging in the yard. If you'd like to hold or pet a chicken, or collect their eggs, just let us know and we'll make it happen! There are also treats that they will happily eat out of your hand.
