Studio ‘La Cistude’ provides affordable but comfortable accommodation for 2 and up to 4 people, situated in 10 acres of unspoiled countryside and formerly part of a working farm dating back to around the 17th century.
'La Cistude' is part of the small 'Le Cormier' holiday facility which is near to the popular medieval market town of Loches and on the outskirts of the small village of Obterre (has a bar and small shop) on the northern tip of the beautiful ‘Brenne Parc Naturel Regional’, known as the “Land of a Thousand Lakes”. The whole area is quite simply a wildlife and bird-watchers paradise in this relatively unspoiled area of the Berry / South Touraine area of the Loire Valley.
It is very easy to relax in this tranquil and peaceful setting, surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and trees but with many local attractions to keep you occupied. We are ideally located for the famous chateaux of the Loire, vineyards, churches, museums, Zoos, Futuroscope and, of course, surrounded by sleepy medieval towns and villages. The rolling landscape and quiet roads makes it an ideal locality for cycling and walking enthusiasts alike.
