Located in the lush Hudson Valley just 90 Miles from NYC situated on a 40-acre estate. This Tentrr is located in a small private campground. In addition to our Tentrr glamp, there are 12 sites for tents, three vintage trailers, and one Airbnb. All the amenities of home combined with all the rest and relaxation of the great outdoors. Enjoy the fresh air and tranquility of nature in a professionally decorated tent complete with all kinds of conveniences including a premier queen mattress. Mother nature not providing a breeze. Used to fumbling in the dark? Cell phone battery low? We’ve got your covered. Use our solar powered generator to keep things running smooth and protect the environment. Does the cover of darkness keep you from exploring? We provide a flashlight. Want the mattress all to yourself? Extra family and friends tag along? Pop up the tent provided for your convenience. All this and we can accommodate small vans and RVs as well!
When you’re ready to leave the tent explore the 40 acres chock full of nature and small ponds. There is a water spigot by the swing set garden. Fantastic views from local look out points. Stars that fill the night sky and fireflies that twinkle around you. Still looking for more? We are located just miles from the nearest town we still have all the cool stuff like tons of restaurants, breweries, wineries, and farms all around. Forget something? You can probably find it in town. Looking for local color? Enjoy the many hiking trails, state parks, swimming, fishing and more! Sam's Point, Ice Caves Mountain, Minnewaska State Park are all nearby! We have a brand-new casino, a brand-new water park, and Lego Land will be opening soon! Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Other Things to Note:
Check in from 2 pm-9 pm. Strict check out @ 11 am unless arrangements are made in advance. Strict 5 mph speed limit. No loud music or noises; quiet time after 9 pm. No crack or meth, smoke whatever else you want to. No tide pods either.... Please leave the campsite as clean as you found it for the next camper, or a $25 fee is automatically added. The dumpster is located next to the barn. Campground speed limit is 5 miles per hour (strictly enforced). If you are making dust you are driving too fast! No trespassing. Be cognizant of property lines. All property accessible from the road is Private. Please be respectful. Do not remove branches or leaves from the trees and please put any into the fire ring. This is part of the cleanup. Otherwise the area is impossible to mow. Firewood is available @ $10/bundle. We suggest 2 per night. No outside wood. We protect our trees. NY State prohibits the transfer of wood due to invasive pets. Extinguish the fire. Bring something with you to put out the fire and whatever camping supplies you will need. Please turn off bathroom lights behind you. Pool is used exclusively by pool house guests. There is a 25 dollar fee for not putting the second tent away. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis for an additional fee. They must be leased. Ask your host when you make the reservation.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
