The Birches is a tastefully decorated 3 bedroom Taupo holiday home situated in popular Rainbow Point. An easy 4 minute stroll will take you to the lake's edge where you can swim, kayak, ride your bike, or simply sun bathe.
This Rainbow Point holiday home has a comfortable family friendly atmosphere and includes WiFi. The interior is calming and smartly furnished making your stay here enjoyable and truly relaxing no matter what the season. The Birches has 3 large double bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are fitted with a queen bed each and bedroom 3 with 2 king singles, making a perfect holiday spot for up to 6 guests. There is 1 bathroom including a separate shower and bath, plus a laundry located off the kitchen.
Walk through the front entrance to the dining room, with the spacious open plan lounge to your right. There is a closed wood burner fireplace to keep you nice and cosy in the winter, making the lounge a comfortable space to relax after a hard days skiing. During warmer stays, wander through to the kitchen and step out to the large rear deck and backyard.
The generous sun drenched deck is fully equipped with an outdoor table and ample seating. There is also a lovely wicker seating area off to the side of the deck which provides a comfortable outdoor area for morning breakfasts. Plus, the new Broil King BBQ is on hand!
The expansive deck steps down onto a large, fully fenced and private backyard area, where the mature Birch trees provide added shelter and a place to relax on the outdoor lounger to finish that novel. You are welcome to have your boat securely set behind gates within the property.
When you arrive at this Rainbow Point accommodation you will immediately feel on holiday. The location is ideal for its proximity to the lake plus it is just a 2 minute walk to the corner diary, a great fish 'n chip shop, and the Ploughman's Restaurant... This is a great place to come to relax or use as your base for the numerous activities that Taupo has to offer!
