ポジティブ: The Lodge has a fantastically historic ambience. We have always loved going there whether it be for lunch while in the area, or for skiing and/or hiking. Our stay this time included a comfortable bed and good food.
ネガティブ: For this visit, sadly, I must knock off a few review stars, one for each reason below: 1. The service in the dining room was good, but that in the bar was not. Inattentiveness. 2. We had two separate charge issues. One was at dinner, when they charged us anyway for a dessert that was supposed to be complimentary. A minor issue that they fixed. But the room charge: We paid half up front at time of booking almost a year ago. My husband used a different card at check-in for a mandatory $3.00 check-in charge. Prior to check-out, they put the second half of our  room charge pending on BOTH cards. Not cool. They tried to explain it away and one would be dismissed, but that is not the way it should have been done, and I'm glad we (not they) caught it. So word of warning: Double-check all your transactions at Timberline Lodge.
