Heathery Edge is set in the countryside just outside the hamlet of Newton which has a pretty and friendly village pub. Day trips not to be missed include those towards the North Pennines AONB with moorlands and countryside, or head north to the Heritage coastal beaches and castles featured in Harry Potter, an hour’s drive away.
