WELCOME TO THE GITE DU CHALET DU BAZET !
Ideally located right up in the heart of the central Pyrenees - Toulouse is 90 mn away; Spain and the Aran Valley within easy reach (30km). The Chalet du Bazet offers stunning panoramic views over The 'Haute vallée du ger' mountain.The chalet can accomodate up to 7 people. You are guaranteed a warm welcome here, serene stay and unique moments of thorough relaxation.
In this well- preserved, unspoilt environment, you are bound to come upon all kinds of deer, hear the amazing loud bellowing noise of the Red Deer stags in autumn, and at night, gaze at the clear, starry skies whilst soaking in the hot tubs. A truly unique experience you will never forget !
Hot tubs are heated (39-40°C) by a wood burning stove installed in the water.
The sauna and tubs are handcrafted in the area by BAKEDO. The are built in larch wood.
Warm water will help relieve your tense muscles and bring deep relaxation to your body !
Our BAKEDO equipments will offer to you of very convivial evenings : Midnight baths, up in the heart of the Pyrenees....

A big floor to ceiling sliding window helps the room light and provides nice panoramic views out over the mountains, particulary Le Cagire, a Pyrenean peak that is really worth discovering.
Le mourtis ski station (15 mn from the chalet), very popular with families, can also be seen from the gîte.
Getting to chalet du Bazet from Toulouse.
By road
Motorway A64 from Toulouse. Exit 20, Saint-Girons. In Montsaunes, take the road leading up to Aspet.
Motorway A64 from Tarbes. Exist 18, Saint-Gaudens. Check the signs indicating Miramont de Comminges. Follow D5 up to Aspet.
In Aspet, ckeck the signs indicating Le Mourtis. Take D618, and then D85.
The take D44, check the signs indicating Le Gouret, Le Souleignan. Drive up fill you get to the Chalet. You will see it on your left.
In winter, local Department roads are clear. But please note : snow equipment for your car is compulsory.
By train
The nearest train station is in Saint-Gaudens, 35 mn from the Chalet. Saint-Gaudens stations is on the Toulouse/Bayonne line.
By plane
The nearest airports are Toulouse Blagnac and Tarbes Ossun Lourdes both are 90mn from the chalet
