Luxury Glamping on the Limousin/Auvergne border, South West France. 'Luna' is new to our site for 2020 and is an early 1970's caravan with the interior re-designed to create quirky, stylish, fully equipped accommodation for upto 5 people. Through the arched 'stable door', inside you will find a fixed standard double bed to your right. Opposite is a sofa and at the far end to the left, beyond a pair of sliding doors is the original dinette area. This can be converted into a second, slightly smaller double bed (130 x 220 cms) and with a child's single bed created from the 'sofa', the interior gives living space for a couple in luxury or a family in comfort. Moving outside, a covered deck to the front will provide a comfortable dining area and an outdoor 'kitchen' with a double gas ring and a cool store (an adaptation of the original fridge from the caravan). Luna will be positioned in a secluded corner of our site with a private garden area equipped with a Kadai Firebowl/Firepit, deckchairs, parasol etc. The caravan itself is totally 'off grid', but Eco friendly low energy LED lighting is powered by a solar panel for convenience and candlepower for ambience. (During cooler months, it will be possible to provide a mains-powered radiator).
Luna has a private luxury shower room (shower, basin, WC) situated in a nearby converted barn, and also a private fridge in our converted pig sty! All bed linen and towels are provided.

We have a beautiful outdoor swimming pool, which is fenced for safety and has a decked surround furnished with sun loungers, chairs, parasols etc. We have a large barn and a marquee, both of which are set up for our guests' use providing plenty of places to eat and socialise and are ideal for a large party or if the weather warrants it. We have a centuries old bread oven in which we will cook pizzas, a large communal fire pit and fantastic star gazing opportunities. Our surrounding area is conducive to peace and relaxation with numerous outdoor activities to be enjoyed, stunning scenery and interesting places to visit.
We have five our other units - all Bell Tents, which sleep between 2 and 4, with varying layout options (listed separately below with refs given). All of our accommodation can be booked individually or in a group with a maximum of 20 guests at any one time (please contact us for availability if this is what you would like to do). It is also possible to increase occupancy of any of our accommodations by booking one of our 'Baby Bell' Annexe tents - 3m in diameter and furnished with one or two single beds (subject to availability).
Our bell tents are furnished with a mixture of modern and vintage French furniture, comprehensively stocked with everything you may need and are sited, well spaced, in a field of about 3 acres overlooking serene countryside. Kadai Fire Pits are provided for cooking and campfires. Each tent has it's own complete wc/shower room for their exclusive use during their stay.
Our five Bell tents come in three different layouts/sleeping arrangements;

2 berth tent - Estelle - 5 metres in diameter with a double bed and additional seating - best suited to a couple. (property refs 8529370)
2 + 2 berth tents - Aurora and Lyra - these are 6 metres in diameter with a double bed and a day bed that can either be used as a single or can be converted to a king sized bed (with two single mattresses) These might suit either a couple who would like the extra space, or a family, or perhaps two single people holidaying together. (Property Refs 8533147 & 8533135)
4 berth tents - Galileo and Cassini - these tents are 6 metres in diameter and are furnished with a double bed and two full sized single beds and, as such, are ideal for a family (Property Refs 8533102 & 8533115).
Each tent can accommodate a travel cot. We make no charge for infants under the age of two years. If you wish to hire a ‘baby care package’ which includes travel cot, high chair and baby bath (bedding not included) at €6.50 per night, please get in touch.
Our main season runs from late May till the end of September. f you would like to take your holiday either earlier in May or in October please call to discuss rates and availability.
