In the heart of the Yarra Valley, ‘The Shed’ is a specially tailored warehouse-style property perfect for your weekend getaway. With all the facilities you need for a cosy night in ideally located just a few minutes walk to the main street of Healesville and on the doorstep of Victoria’s best wineries and attractions.
THE SPACE
Hidden behind a low-key, discreet entrance, this modern and stylish property has been designed with the discerning guest in mind. You won’t be skimping on your creature comforts. The main bedroom boasts a luxurious king size bed, large freestanding bath and shower stocked with locally made natural bath, body and hair products. Additional guests, children & babies can be easily accommodated in the comfortable double (top and bottom) bunk bed and porta-cot & high chair on request. The large living area with slow combustion fireplace is perfect for a romantic getaway, family game night or a night in tasting your day’s pickings from the region’s vineyards.
Given you are spoiled for choice with many restaurants, cheese rooms, wine rooms and wineries within easy walking distance or short drives away, we have purposely not equipped the space with cooking facilities. We have an information pack in The Shed with lots of recommendations for our favourite places. However the patio is equipped with a BBQ and we have provided BBQ and platter preparation basics, tea and coffee facilities, plates, bowls and cutlery galore. And of course a glass for any wine or cocktail you choose to enjoy. And there's nothing to stop you ordering in a meal to enjoy in if you don't feel like venturing out.

We guarantee full refunds to guests who are forced to cancel their bookings due to COVID-19 lockdowns that prevent travel even if it is within the non-cancellation period.
We would like to assure our guests that whilst we always pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of cleanliness at The Shed, we are taking extra precautions. This includes ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly disinfected after every guest including remote controls, light switches and door handles and soft furnishings are treated with a disinfectant spray. All linen is washed in very hot water and dried in a hot tumble dryer. We are also ensuring we have at least a day in between a guest checking out and the next guests checking in to make sure we have plenty of time to clean thoroughly.
We ask that if you have COVID-19 symptoms in the days prior to your check in that you consider the safety of our other guests, the Healesville community and us as your hosts and please notify us. We will be happy to postpone your stay to another time. ***

THE AREA
Perfectly located just off the main street of Healesville in a quiet leafy street, a comfortable 5-6 minute walk from local pubs, cafes and shops but set back in the tranquil and leafy streets, the choice is yours how you choose to spend your time here. Just 10 - 15 minutes drive from Yarra Valley wineries, cheese-mongers, Chocolaterie and more. Other attractions are close by from Healesville Sanctuary to national parks perfect for some time in nature.

- 2 double beds (bunks) in open plan area. Best suited for up to 4 children or 2 adults. The double bunks are not suitable for 4 large adults.

SPACE LAYOUT
The Shed is a spacious, but intimate open plan design. The combined bedroom/bathroom has a heavy curtain that allows it to be closed off from the larger open plan lounge/dining/bunk bed area allowing guests to use the shower and bath in privacy. There is also a private toilet with a door located in between the bedroom and lounge area. For this reason the space is ideal for families, girls and close friends getaways. The bunk beds are best suited for 2 adults or up to 4 children, so please keep this in mind when considering if the space if suitable for your group.
Pricing:
- Mon, Tue, Wed nights - $250 per night for 2 guests
- Thu & Sun nights - $300 per night for 2 guests
- Fri & Sat nights - $350 per night for 2 guests
- Extra guest fee (for guest more than 2) is $25 per person per night
- Cleaning fee of $100 for the whole stay
- HomeAway booking fee is charged by HomeAway in addition to these fees and is controlled by HomeAway.

- Check in time - 3pm, Check out time - 11am (early check in or late check out available upon request depending on availability)
- We don't generally allow guests to check in on SUNDAYS. Please reach out to us with an enquiry if you have this particular requirement as we may be able to arrange it in some circumstances.
